Terms of Service

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the zerosum interface (the "interface") at zerosum.fun, a non-custodial front-end that helps you interact with public smart contracts (the "Protocol"). Please read them carefully. By using the interface, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the interface, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosures. If you do not agree, you must not use the interface.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in order to use the interface. You represent that you are not a person or entity subject to sanctions, that you are not located in a restricted or prohibited jurisdiction, and that your use of the interface does not violate any law or regulation applicable to you.

3. Nature of the Interface

The interface is a non-custodial, informational front-end. It does not take custody of your assets, does not execute transactions on your behalf, and does not act as a broker, exchange, wallet provider, or financial intermediary. All transactions are initiated by you, signed by your wallet, and settled directly by the Protocol on the underlying blockchain. We do not control the Protocol and cannot reverse, cancel, or modify transactions once broadcast.

4. Experimental Software

The interface and the Protocol are experimental and may operate on test networks or early-stage production networks. Features may change, break, or be discontinued without notice. You acknowledge that you are using unproven software and that you do so entirely at your own risk.

5. Provided "As Is"; No Warranties

The interface is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the interface will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information it displays is accurate or complete.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, your private keys, and your recovery information. You are responsible for reviewing every transaction before you sign it, for paying any network fees or gas required, and for ensuring that your use of the interface complies with the laws that apply to you. Loss of your keys means permanent loss of access to your assets, and we cannot recover them for you.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the interface to engage in unlawful activity, to defraud or deceive others, to manipulate markets, to launder proceeds of illegal activity, to infringe the rights of others, to distribute malicious code, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the interface or the systems of others. You also agree not to use automated means to abuse, overload, or disrupt the interface.

8. No Financial or Investment Advice

Nothing on the interface constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and nothing should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified professionals before acting.

9. No Offer of Securities

Tokens that may be created or traded through the Protocol are not offered, marketed, or sold by us as securities or as any other regulated financial instrument. We make no representation that any token has value or that any market for it will exist. You are responsible for determining the legal and tax treatment of any token in your jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or digital assets, arising out of or relating to your use of the interface or the Protocol, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use the interface, if any, or one hundred units of the applicable currency.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the interface, its operators, and its contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the interface, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, and you agree to submit to their exclusive jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the interface after any change means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the interface.
