This Privacy Policy explains what information the zerosum interface (the "interface", "we", or "us") at zerosum.fun handles when you use it. The interface is a non-custodial front-end to public smart contracts (the "Protocol"). We have designed it to collect as little data as reasonably possible.
The interface does not require you to create an account or submit personal details such as your name, email address, or government identification. The primary information we process is your public wallet address when you choose to connect a wallet, along with the on-chain data associated with it. We may also process limited technical data such as your browser type, device characteristics, and general usage patterns.
When you connect a wallet, the interface reads your public address and any tokens or balances associated with it in order to display relevant information and to construct transactions for your approval. We never request or store your private keys, seed phrase, or recovery information, and no legitimate part of the interface will ever ask you for them.
Blockchains are public, distributed, and immutable ledgers. Any transaction you broadcast, including token creations, purchases, sales, and transfers, is permanently recorded on the underlying network and is visible to anyone. We cannot alter, delete, or reverse information that has been written to the blockchain, and this is inherent to how the technology works rather than a policy of ours.
The interface may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember basic preferences and to keep the application working correctly. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and how features perform. This information is used to improve the interface and is not used to identify you personally.
To function, the interface relies on third-party services such as RPC node providers, wallet software, and hosting infrastructure. When you interact with the Protocol, these providers may receive data such as your IP address and wallet address as a technical necessity of routing requests. These services operate under their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of third parties.
We use the limited information described above to operate, maintain, and improve the interface, to construct and display transactions, to monitor for security and abuse, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited technical data with service providers strictly as needed to operate the interface, or where required to do so by applicable law.
We retain off-chain technical data only for as long as it is useful for the purposes described in this policy. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and on-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone.
The interface is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has used the interface, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
The interface may be accessed from many regions. By using it, you understand that any limited technical data may be processed in locations that operate under different data protection rules than those of your home jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the interface after any change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
